We believe the safest data is data that ceases to exist. We built Burnpage so that neither we nor anyone else can access your expired information.
Zero-Login Philosophy
You never provide a username or password. There is no user profile database to breach because no user database exists.
No Advertising or Surveillance Pixels
Burnpage runs without Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party behavioral fingerprinting. We do not monetize your browsing habits.
Irrevocable Purge Lifecycle
When an expiration timer expires, the row in our PostgreSQL database and all binary objects in storage buckets are deleted permanently. We do not retain shadow backups.
4-Digit PIN Zero-Knowledge Access
If you protect a page with a 4-digit PIN, your page contents are never returned over the network to any visitor who has not provided the matching PIN.
How Your Data is Handled
When you publish a micro-site on Burnpage, your content (title, modular blocks, and optional PIN hash) is stored in our PostgreSQL database along with an explicit UTC timestamp: expires_at.
Every 15 minutes, an automated purge cron searches for all records where expires_at <= NOW(), deletes associated files from Supabase Storage, and issues an irrevocable SQL DELETE statement.
Additionally, if any visitor attempts to load an expired page before the cron runs, our API executes a real-time lazy deletion check that purges the row immediately and responds with HTTP 410 Gone.
